Ban The Bank Holiday Caravan

Are you sick of being stuck behind caravans when you want to make a quick getaway to the beach or local beauty spot? Are you fed up of them slowing down your journey and clogging up the roads?

Caravans are the thorn in the side of many motorists wanting to get away and enjoy an extended break over bank holiday weekends. Single lane roads pose endless problems when it comes to passing these troublesome vehicles and leave motorist seething with anger when they’re stuck behind them for miles on end.

We say enough is enough and are calling for a bank holiday caravan ban on the UK’s roads!

We’re launching our tongue in cheek campaign after mechanics told us that they and their customers are becoming more and more frustrated by all the caravans on the road during the holiday season.

Journeys from hell include being stuck for miles behind caravan owners with nowhere safe to overtake and seeing other motorists take dangerous risks to get past them.

With the holiday season now well and truly underway, we want to stand up for motorists and are urging caravan owners to stay off the roads during the really busy periods.

We understand caravan owners have as much right to be on the road as anyone else, what we ask of them is that they travel on a Friday instead of a Saturday and avoid bank holidays. They can enjoy a longer break, and motorists can get to their destination quicker and safer.
