As the world is supposedly gripped by Royal Wedding fever, a man selling Kate Middleton’s former car on internet auction website ebay has told of it’s failure to attract even a single bid.
The blue, Volkswagen Golf was used by Kate and her boyfriend prince William during their days as students at St Andrews University. When the car was purchased by Kate she paid just £10,818 in Edinburgh in 2001. Sonny Brazil, the current owner has put a £20,000 reserve on the on line auction site.
As well as the car sonny found a pair of sterling silver cufflinks inside the glove box which were due to be sold with the vehicle for more than £30,000. However, Mr Brazil has since had second thoughts about selling the cuff links and has decided to pass them back on to the Middleton family.
Since buying the car Mr Brazil has only travelled about 2,500 miles in the VW since it was delivered to his home by Kate’s brother James.
Mr Brazil said: “I went to an auction house in Dorset a few weeks ago and they said it would be worth £30,000 plus, purley because of the name in the log book.”
The first registered keeper is listed as a Catherine Middleton who bought it in November 2001, a few months after she and Prince William became friends. When Mr Brazil bought the car Kate had clocked up around 60,000 miles in it as she used it regularly to travel to and from work and to also visit relatives during holidays.
Mr brazil said: “It’s amazing to think that i only bought the car for £1,400 and now it’s worth a lot more than that.”

What’s up?, can someone able to give information on good free Ebay application which can bid automatically just before the auction finishes? (I forget the correct term for this. Thank-you
