Optimise The Possibilities With Quality Car Videos To Entice Potential Customers

One in five consumers looking for their next car, view videos of car content on the web as reported by motoring.co.uk, with almost 20 per cent watching car manufacturers videos and online car reviews.

18-44 year olds are the most likely to watch online videos when making a new car choice, but only one in ten with over 45’s searching for video content for the same thing.

Motoring.co.uk co-founder and sales director, Chris Green, said that research has shown that car buyers and researchers who use websites are neglected by car dealers and manufacturers who could benefit by addressing the growing need for individual video content.

A lot of car manufacturers either do not bother with online video content or the content available is difficult to find as it is buried within the site.

Sales leads and web traffic are missed due to this crucial lapse in marketing possibilities.  Potential customers could be converted if the platform is used effectively through video overviews, buyers guides and car reviews, all of which could potentially be broadcast through portals like motoring.co.uk plus manufacturers and dealers websites.

Motoring.co.uk plan to address the issue of poor quality video content by ensuring high quality video only is displayed from dealers and manufacturers and they have a Video on Demand service in development to be launched early in 2012.

Upgrading the quality of online video content will optimise the amount of targeted traffic a site receives and prevent a decline in page rankings and web traffic.
