The Japanese car maker has recalled yet another set of vehicles! A steering and water pump fault is affecting nine models in their range, including the Corolla and Prius, leading to a recall of 2.8million cars.
After Honda recalled a number of their models earlier this week, fellow Japanese car maker Toyota does the same. This time around 7 million cars have been recalled from across the globe after a faulty window switch was discovered.
The Japanese car maker is recalling around one third of the vehicles manufactured at their Swindon plant after discovering a door switch fault. Honda are aiming to get the problem resolved on all affected cars before Christmas.
Car maker Nissan has recalled around 50,000 Qashqais after a steering wheel fell off in one driver’s hand! It is thought that 7,300 cars are defect in the UK, whilst a further 45,500 are to be recalled from across Europe.
Kia Motors have recalled almost 73,000 Rios across the USA after a sensor fault was discovered on their 2006 to 2008 models. These models do not detect a child sitting in the seat so the car will not deploy an air bag in the event of a crash.
