More drivers are firing up their vocal chords as well as their engines when getting behind the wheel for a long journey. The poll conducted by AA and Populus found that 60% of young drivers burst into song when driving.
Scotland and the East Midlands has the highest number of singing drivers, whilst the poll also proved that 5% of motorists find long journeys the ideal time to pray. Edmund King, President of the AA, commented that these ‘extra curricular’ activities are growing popular. Drivers are praying, singing and even learning a language at the wheel.
