Geely, who is the parent company of Volvo, has made a deal with the car maker to break into the Chinese market. Volvo will trade technology for Geely’s know-how of the Chinese market to access overseas business and low-cost production.
BYD has just signed a deal with the second largest cab firm in the capital and will make the streets of London a cleaner, greener place. The Chinese car maker will supply the first fleet of electric cabs, much to the delight of avid cyclist and eco-enthusiast Mayor Boris Johnson.
