The winner of the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race has sold at auction for a whopping $11 million. The Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage racer held the title for three consecutive years, from 1966 to 1969.
For the first time ever, a hybrid car has won the Le Mans 24 Hours. The German car maker took part with four of its Audi R18 E-tron Quattro which went onto take 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th place.
